Changes coming to the forum
During the forthcoming 6-7 days, Soulreaper.net will be updated to a new version of the software we’re running, and also our forum will have a new look.
The update will mean that there will be some downtime when the forum will not be accessible, and there may be some tweaking when the forum is back up. Thus, we ask for your patience during this time.
Another thing we hope you have not missed is the image hosting-service called “ImageReap“. The site enables you to create your own personal galleries, and you choose if you want your images to be publically viewable or not. ImageReap also comes complete with easy to copy/paste links for both regular sites, forums and social networking sites like MySpace, Facebook etc.

Hi, good to know of the changes,. Will the new layout colour hotlinked words more visibly? In the present layout URLs masked with text are not well distinguishable. I wouldn’t like any drastic difference, but a tone or two more to make the links clearly distinguishable.

The design will change, at least for the time being. A big reason to this is that the current theme isn’t fully compatible with the newer codebase.
Regarding changing theme, at the start it won’t be possible. This is because of the time it takes to maintain updates for the individual themes and how the rest of the site will fit into it. There will be subscription option though.
